Sometimes the phone will differ on the internal memory or it will feature a better camera. Hewlett-Packard ( NYSE: HPQ ) has registered the trademark for two terms, explicitly related to mobile handsets and computing: “Zeen” and “Airlife”. While I can’t defend or explain their choice of monikers, they’re certainly intriguing. HP’s been making a little bit more noise on the mobile front lately, with the iPAQ Glisten coming to AT&T last month, and talk about a new social networking app at last spring’s WES, but they’re still not a big deal in the cell phone circle.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco upheld a 2008 ruling that stated the iPod does not pose an unreasonable risk for hearing loss even though everyone knows the old stock iPod earbuds were the worst earbuds ever made. It seems that Clayton Morris, from FoxNews, has confirmed from a “source inside Apple” that there will be a “big” event in January 26th. This source also stated that the event will focus on the mobility space, which could actually mean a lot of different things.
