CES 2010: Hands-On With the Lenovo S10-3t Tablet

Rumor has it the much anticipated Apple tablet will be a blown-up iPhone with a 10-inch screen. While we wait for that fabled device (presumably in late January), take a gander at Lenovo’s S10-3t — a 10-inch part-time netbook, part-time tablet running Windows 7. The “t” stands for tablet, and that’s because this 10-inch netbook (aka notbook) features a swivel touchscreen that can be rotated for use as a tablet

Samsung r470 TwoStep Cell Phone Review–Small in Stature, Packing Serious Force

If you’re not familiar with an M80, it’s a kind of firecracker.  It was actually, at at least one point, the equivalent of a quarter-stick of dynamite.  Also called ashcans, these were fairly small, but put a whole lot of juice in that very small package.  That’s exactly what I felt when I first picked

Nexus One: Unboxing Google’s first ’superphone’

Google ( NSDQ: GOOG ) wouldn’t be Google if they didn’t launch the Nexus One without building up hype for the handset. One of the ways the Mountain View, CA-based search giant did that was to coin a new term to describe their Nexus One – “superphone.” Seeing as how the new Android phone packs the most advanced smartphone features available today, the new Android 2.1 OS, and a handful of innovative software and hardware technologies, Google saw fit to call the Nexus One a “ superphone .” Not a smartphone, mind you, this superphone is supposed to showcase the possibilities when you put Google and HTC together in the same room.

This is a tiny MP3 player and microSDHC card reader from Brando

Yay! for Brando and yay! for convergence! Of course you need this really small MP3 player that doubles as a microSDHC card reader. Why? AT&T turns on 7.2 Mbps HSPA, deploying fiber backhaul to towers during 2010 and 2011

As a response to T-Mobile’s decision to turn on 7.2 Mbps today it appears that AT&T has done the same thing . Realistically speaking these two events were probably scheduled months in advance and press releases were written several weeks prior, but I’ll ignore the logic and just say it’s AT&T responding to T-Mobile ( NYSE: DT ) and then going one step further and calling them a nasty poo poo head. AT&T is also saying that they’re going to “dramatically increase the number of high-speed backhaul connections to cell sites, primarily with fiber-optic connections, adding capacity from cell sites to the AT&T backbone network”.
