Walking in to Buy an iPhone 4? Good Luck!

It has been more than 7 weeks since Apple released its iPhone 4 in the United States, so you should be able to walk-in to most of its retailers and purchase one, right? Not according to Mac Life , who reports that Apple Insider sent an analyst to various stores to collect the data. He found that of the 30 stores he strolled into, just 16 had any stock.

Licensing agreement with Apple helps Liquidmetal pay off $11M debt

Is the iPhone Coming to T-Mobile? I Don’t Think So…

The rumor of the day is that the iPhone might be coming to T-Mobile, according to a “highly placed source” of Cult of Mac . While this rumor makes more sense to me than a Verizon iPhone , I still don’t believe the hype. To be honest with you, I think this was completely made up by Cult of Mac just so they can get other people (like me) to talk about them.

Apple’s 27" iMac only supports native or 720p video input, no 1080p

Apple’s revised 27″ iMac introduced this spring debuted a new feature: a Mini DisplayPort video port that worked in both directions, enabling external video sources to output video to the screen. That feature is largely limited to 720p in HDTV applications however.

iSuppli: Apple’s iPad the "Tickle Me Elmo" of 2010, boosts forecast

Market analysts at iSuppli have revised their iPad sales forecasts for 2010 from 7.1 million units to 12.9 million, writing that “product demand [is] expected to vastly exceed available supply” and calling the new mobile computing appliance “the ‘Tickle Me Elmo’ of the 2010 holiday season.”
